2022 Season Information

We are planning to start the season mid-May to early June if there are no government imposed restrictions.  Every effort will be made to schedule travel and house league soccer sessions as per our website posted days/time, however we cannot guarantee any scheduling until registration closes and we can determine how many players are returning, how soccer will be structured this season and what (if any) COVID protocols must be in place.

The GTYSC is in regular communication with our governing bodies, the Town of Grimsby and Niagara Public Health to stay on top of the latest COVID-19 information and updates.  We will continue to comply and abide by the standards put forth to keep everyone safe.  When we have new information, we will send it out via email and/or post it on our website.

Coaches

The Club is in need of volunteers to run the 2022 season.  We are always looking for coaches in all divisions (Soccer School, House League and Interlock).  Applications are available at the following link: Coach Applications.  No experience is necessary.

Match Officials

Match Official registration for returning referees is available on Ref Centre.  Match Official training for new referees is available online.  Please email the Club for more information and instructions. Match Officials must be 12 years of age by March 31, 2022 to participate.  The GTYSC has a well-regarded mentorship program in place to support referees.

Sponsorship

Please remember to support our generous sponsors during these challenging times.  Our sponsors are on our website at: https://grimsbysoccer.com/Sponsors/.  If you would like to become a sponsor for the 2022 season, please contact us as soon as possible.
